Over the past three years, we have focused on building a strong team, expanding our business and establishing the foundations needed to lead CPS into the South American market.This involved a lot of travel across several remarkable countries, meeting fascinating people, building new relationships with leading clients in various industries, learning a new language and way of life and being exposed to the vast array of cultures that South America is renowned for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Question:&nbsp;<\/strong>What do you find most challenging and rewarding about the role?<br><strong>Answer:<\/strong>&nbsp;Navigating a work life outside of Australia has been both challenging and rewarding. I believe that success comes from the value one can provide and acquire. To be effective in delivering value, one must dedicate time to integrating into the environment and understanding the constraints and challenges that the customer base faces.Marketing a new business in a new region takes time, persistence and the right team to navigate through the resistance to change. Thankfully, representing CPS\u2014a company that revolutionises the way conveyor components are made through composite technology\u2014has been a humbling experience. Working with an amazing team, we have been able to provide reliability, quality and confidence to clients throughout Latin America. This, in turn, has resulted in value for all involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Question:&nbsp;<\/strong>Can you share a particular project you enjoyed working on, and how did it deliver value to the client?<br><strong>Answer:<\/strong>&nbsp;As a team within CPS Latam, our mission is to share the knowledge of conveyor engineered best practices by providing support, solutions and direct advice to our client base. We have several clients that have trusted us from the early days, and we have been able to deliver reliability and provide case examples of the value of Total Cost of Ownership when investing in an engineered solution.For instance, we helped extend the life of a component from three months to two years, with no indication of failure in the near future. I take pleasure in being part of this common goal. We aim to challenge the traditional relationship between a client and a vendor by striving to be a partner in common strategic solutions rather than merely competing on a commercial basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Question:&nbsp;<\/strong>Tell us about life outside CPS. What do you enjoy doing?<br><strong>Answer:<\/strong>&nbsp;Living on the other side of the world provides me with a unique opportunity to explore this beautiful part of the world.
