The return rollers were also failing prematurely and required a lot of additional maintenance hours to replace due to their highly elevated location on the conveyor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p\">CPS recommended installing three types of rollers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For high-tension\/high carryback return rollers, CPS proposed the installation of our premium Polyurethane Disc with Hollow Shaft rollers.<\/li>\n<li>For the high-elevation return rollers, CPS recommended the installation of our Yeloroll-HD composite rollers to reduce roller weight and increase reliability.<\/li>\n<li>At the same time, CPS proposed installing Yeloroll-HD rollers for the carry rollers, obtaining the same benefits as the return rollers and reducing roller weight from 30kg (steel roller) to 17kg.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p\">With the installation of Yeloroll-HD light weight composite tube, roller weight has been reduced from 45kgs (steel rollers) to just 20kgs. This 20-kg weight savings has been a great safety benefit for the crew, as this has significantly reduced manual handling risks and even made roller changeouts faster due to the rollers\u2019 lighter weight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p\">After six months of operation, the site\u2019s CPS rollers installed have exceeded the number of rollers from the previous supplier by 250%.
