Posted at Marzo 09, 2023
Question: What is your position/title at CPS?
Answer: I’m a Chemical and R&D Engineer at CPS.
Question: How long have you been with the company?
Answer: I started as a grad student, doing vacation work, in December 2020. So, just a bit over 2 years now.
Question: What does a typical day look like for you?
Answer: Most days you can find me at CPS’s Perth facility in Welshpool. I’m usually either in the lab doing roller material testing of all sorts (chemical and mechanical) or in the office writing reports, assisting the engineering and the quality teams and/or doing research.
Question: What do you find most challenging and rewarding about the role?
Answer: Being involved in so many projects at once can be overwhelming, but it is quite rewarding to be able to do and help as much as I can to contribute to CPS and our clients’ operations.
Question: Can you share a particular project you enjoyed working on, and how did it deliver value to the client?
Answer: Although I don’t often work directly with clients, one of the most rewarding aspects of my role is hearing that the research and testing I performed helped CPS provide the right product for our clients, and that the client’s outcomes were achieved.
Question: Tell us about life outside CPS. What do you enjoy doing?
Answer: I like arts and crafts, like origami and colouring. Puzzles, either word or number puzzles and a fair share of cooking and baking!
