Meet Travis Lewis – National Sales Manager for CPS

Posted at Febrero 02, 2023

Question: What is your position/title at CPS?
Answer: I am the National Sales Manager for CPS.

Question: How long have you been with the company?
Answer: I started at CPS in March of 2017, almost 6 years ago.

Question: What does a typical day look like for you?
Answer: When I am not traveling to visit clients or to our various facilities around Australia, I work from my home office in Adelaide. Whether on the road or at the office, I’m constantly in touch and engaged with both our clients and my fellow work colleagues. I proportion much of my time managing both internal and external sales and marketing activities that enable my team to successfully deliver and exceed on our clients’ expectations.

Question: What do you find most challenging and rewarding about the role?
Answer: Liaising with different people every day is both the most challenging and rewarding aspect of my role.
It can be particularly challenging at times overseeing a national (and international) sales and marketing operation; however, we’ve worked hard to develop our systems, our processes and my own skill set to enable me to successfully lead and empower my team, whilst at the same time remain fully engaged with our clients. Creating an internal culture of collaboration, trust and respect is one I am most proud of, together with seeing my colleagues continually inspired to put our customers first and to ensure the ongoing success of our business.

Question: Can you share a particular project you enjoyed working on, and how did it deliver value to the client?
Answer: I like to think that I’m engaged in one continual project – delivering consistent and reliable customer service, both directly and indirectly via the whole team here at CPS. It’s a project with numerous stakeholders and deliverables which can be demanding at times. The outcome however is the positive feedback and gratitude we receive from our clients in support of their operations.

Question: Tell us about life outside CPS. What do you enjoy doing?
Answer: My wife Michelle and I have three children, so it is always busy in our household. Whether it’s sport or social activities, we always have something to do.

CPS reconoce a los propietarios tradicionales del país en toda Australia y reconoce la conexión permanente con las tierras, las aguas, las vías respiratorias y las comunidades.
