CPS Reaches Zero TCIR Across Manufacturing Operations

Posted at Septiembre 09, 2025

We’re pleased to report that our Roller manufacturing team in Welshpool has now completed over 12 months without a major injury. This is a notable operational milestone, particularly given the high level of activity throughout the past year.

Combined with the strong historical safety performance of our Pulley manufacturing and fabrication team, this result brings the Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR) for CPS to zero. Achieving zero TCIR reflects the effectiveness of our safety systems and the consistent application of safe work practices across both teams.

“This is a major milestone for CPS, and a reflection of everyone’s hard work, dedication, and consistency, as well as the proactive safety culture within our operations,” said Max Herscovitz, CPS General Manager.

Maintaining a zero TCIR requires more than meeting compliance standards. It involves a structured approach to risk management, regular training, and a shared commitment to identifying and addressing hazards early. Our teams are encouraged to report near misses, participate in safety discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Leadership at all levels has played a key role in supporting this outcome. Supervisors, team leaders, and frontline workers have worked together to embed safety into daily operations and decision-making.
