CPS Secures Major Five-Year Supply Contract

Conveyor Products & Solutions (CPS), part of the Fenner Conveyors portfolio, has been awarded a significant five-year contract to supply conveyor rollers to a valued client across its Iron Ore operations. The agreement reinforces CPS’ reputation as a trusted partner and industry leader in conveyor products, with a strong track record of delivering high-performance, sustainable solutions for large-scale mining operations.
A Partnership Built on Proven Performance
The new agreement marks the third consecutive contract term between CPS and the client and follows a series of successful collaborations over the past eight years. This enduring relationship speaks to the confidence they place in CPS’ technical capability, product quality, and commitment to continuous improvement.
CPS Site Support Manager said that despite significant cost pressures across the mining sector, CPS was able to offer a competitive and technically robust bid.

One standout example of CPS’s engineering expertise was its involvement in redesigning tracking frames to incorporate additional safety features. This solution not only mitigated safety risks but also earned CPS a nomination for a supplier award from the client.

Beyond operational performance, CPS continues to support the client’s focus on environmental responsibility. During the previous contract CPS was involved a bulk roller change-out for the installation of low-noise rollers. The switch from traditional steel rollers to CPS’ low-noise roller, Yeloroll-HD, has already significantly reduced sound emissions, addressing concerns over marine wildlife disruption.

The contract will also open opportunities for future site-specific improvements, including ongoing development of improved roller solutions, upgraded training frames, and new innovations to extend the life of rollers – demonstrating CPS’ proactive approach to product development in alignment with client goals.
