Question: What is your position/title at CPS?
Answer: I am a Conveyor Product Specialist at CPS.

Question: How long have you been with the company?
Answer: I have been with CPS since October 2021.

Question: What does a typical day look like for you?
Answer: A typical day in my role as a Conveyor Product Specialist at CPS involves a dynamic blend of activities. I’m constantly engaged with our customers and the sales team, discussing everything related to pulleys—from estimation to pulley configuration. Additionally, I collaborate closely with our production team to ensure smooth deliveries and schedules. Working hand in hand with the Engineering department, I focus on implementing design changes that enhance pulley reliability. Furthermore, part of my routine includes conducting comprehensive conveyor pulley audits to assess the condition of pulleys and strategically optimise our stock holding for maximum efficiency.

Question: What do you find most challenging and rewarding about the role?
Answer: Dealing with a variety of customer challenges and constantly working to address their unique issues and limitations can be challenging, but the most rewarding feeling comes when we find those solutions and deliver on our promises, ensuring top-notch conveyor systems and happy clients.

Question: Can you share a particular project you enjoyed working on, and how did it deliver value to the client?
Answer: One of the memorable projects I worked on was with a prominent gold mining company in Western Australia. By conducting pulley audits at various mine sites, we were able to help the client streamline their pulley stock and create a comprehensive record of each pulley’s condition. This empowered the client to plan maintenance and stockholding with precision, adding immense value to their operations.

Question: Tell us about life outside CPS. What do you enjoy doing?
Answer: I enjoy the great outdoors, from the serene beauty of the bush to the soothing waves of the beach. I also love upcycling old furniture, giving new life to forgotten pieces.
