CPS designs and manufactures Idler assembly Rollers and Frames for FMG Far West Hub overland conveyor system

Featuring one of CPS’ projects completed in 2021: the Far West Hub Bigge Overland Conveyor.
The CPS team designed and manufactured idler assembly rollers and frames for FMG Far West Hub’s 10.4-km relocatable overland conveyor system, located in the Pilbara region of WA. The team worked with FMG in designing and accounting for multiple complex curves throughout the length of the conveyor system. The project included over 5,000 side guide roller assemblies used to assist with aligning the conveyor belt over challenging terrain. It also consisted of 22,861 rollers and 5,403 frames—all designed, manufactured and supplied by CPS within a 13-week timeframe.
