CPS Polyurethane Disc Rollers Case Study
Posted at October 07, 2020The client’s previous rollers were creating significant carryback issues—causing frequent maintenance and change-outs. With the 6mm steel return rollers lasting for only between 15 to 36 weeks depending on the location, the CPS team recommended that the initial bank of return frames back from the head pulley were to be changed out to CPS PU Disc rollers.
CPS PU Disc rollers offer clients the lowest total cost of ownership for return rollers. Furthermore, they tend to assist with belt cleaning due to the flex of the belt over the roller rings and assist in belt training at the same time. Specially designed for high-wear return areas on the conveyor, the CPS PU Disc rollers last longer than steel rollers in the same location, and had been in service for over two years and are still running today.
