CPS Team Plants Seedlings for Trillion Trees
Posted at August 18, 2022Over the past weekend, a few CPS volunteers braved the bad weather to plant some trees for the TrillionTrees non-for-profit organisation.
Almost a year ago, we made a commitment to offset our packaging use by planting a tree for every wooden crate used. We hope to achieve this goal in only a few months through our financial contribution and time…Approximately 8,000 crates = 8,000 seedlings into the West Australian ecosystem this planting year.
This 12-month sponsorship agreement with Trillion Trees in Western Australia is a part of CPS’s Green Plan initiative. CPS is proud to be aligned with a great organisation that brings people together to plant trees, reconnect with nature and foster a long-term appreciation for the value of trees for a healthy planet.
Trillion Trees is an incorporated charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Since 1979, the organisation has planted over 15 million native trees and understory vegetation to boost and support biodiversity.
