CPS Yeloroll-HD: Eliminating corrosion issues and ensuring risk-free production

Posted at July 21, 2022

CPS was contracted by a client to provide a solution for their project-supplied steel rollers and painted frames, which have been causing premature failures and a decrease in productivity.

Situated near the sea, the client’s port conveyors were prone to corrosion on both rollers and frames. Their project-supplied steel components were yielding severe erosion on metallic surfaces after only two to three years of operation, resulting in a high risk of structural failure and the need for premature replacement.

The CPS Team then recommended the CPS YELOROLL-HD with high-tolerance hot-dipped galvanised Australian made frames for their inherent resistance against corrosive environments, allowing for natural protection against corrosion issues.

CPS YELOROLL-HD is naturally low-noise, low-vibration, CBH-equipped and up to 45% lighter than traditional steel rollers, ensuring auto-alignment of bearing to the shell and risk-free production with their inherent “belt-friendly” protection against the event of roller failure.
